Some of the impressive land art created by the children at Midleton Educate Together in June 2024. Each group collaborated closely, sharing ideas and perspectives as they crafted their artworks, and they told wonderful, meaningful stories about what these pieces represented for them.
Land art workshops
Land art is a great way to encourage children to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of nature. It also allows them to be creative and physically active and also opens up the possibility of exploring shape and space, colour, line, pattern and texture.
These are some images showcasing a wonderfully creative land art workshop with our vibrant migrant community that came from Redbarn for the celebration of International Play Day 2024. The experience was filled with joy and collaboration as participants expressed themselves through land art in the beautiful outdoor setting of Glenbower Woods.
